ACE’s sanitation services have expanded from their humble origins in lower Manhattan to neighborhoods throughout all of New York City. Today, ACE Contract Services provides daily supplemental sanitation to the SoHo Broadway Initiative, the Meatpacking Business Improvement District, 24 New York City Council Districts, a State Senator, and over two-dozen public spaces and Parks. In total, ACE keeps 1,580 New York City blocks clean and beautiful for the enjoyment all of residents, businesses and visitors.
Beyond keeping our city beautiful, ACE’s Contract Services initiative provides critical employment opportunities for ACE program participants, who have histories of homelessness, incarceration and addiction. The full-time employees are able to make their transition to independence while continuing to receive all of the program support that is available.
Our community beautification efforts have proven incredibly effective, helping to clean up high-trafficked areas throughout the boroughs, while providing life-changing opportunities for the men and women who maintain them.
