Responding to the Needs of Our City and Neighbors

With your partnership, we are responding by connecting participants and graduates with work opportunities, providing direct financial assistance to ensure they can pay their rent and utilities, and providing the proper personal protective equipment. ACE is also on the front lines meeting the needs of the city at large, partnering with the World Central Kitchen, Hand Crafted Catering + Events, and the Migrant Kitchen and in April provided up to 7,000 meals per week to those in need throughout the city. Equally important, our team of supplemental sanitation workers are keeping our city clean and safe.

Thank you to everyone who has provided critical support so far – you are an essential partner in the response to this crisis. Can we risk letting hardworking men and women fall back into homelessness after they put years of hard work into overcoming it? Absolutely not. Please take a look at our updates below and consider making an emergency relief gift to support those who need it most.

ACE has responded to the needs of participants, graduates and the city as a whole. ACE is meeting three major needs of our city and our neighbors and we need your support to continue:

  • Standing by New Yorkers who have histories of homelessness incarceration and addiction
After years of hard work to beat homelessness, many men and women are faced with unemployment and risk falling back. We’re connecting them with resources to stay employed/ find employment, providing direct financial assistance to pay bills and rent, providing counseling, and more.
  • Partnering to provide thousands of meals to those in need
ACE is partnering with World Central Kitchen, Hand Crafted Catering + Events, and the Migrant Kitchen to provide over 7,000 meals per week to frontline hospital workers , food-insecure families, and seniors throughout NYC. Will you help us bring meals to our vulnerable neighbors?
  • Keeping our city clean and safe
ACE employs men and women with barriers to employment to provide supplemental sanitation throughout the city. Now more than ever, clean streets mean safe streets. Will you keep our streets clean and safe?

Please consider making a gift today that will provide the resources for individuals, families and our community to persevere through this crisis.
